Who are you?
I’m madeener, known more affectionately by my given name Bryan, or ‘Bra’ for short. I’m a short, skinny Chinese boy who likes animation a great deal. So great it spring-boarded this blog. This is my 4th attempt at writing one.

Why the name?
I live along a road called ‘Sunset Place’. It’s a quiet, suburban neighbourhood occupied by a multitude of expatriates with nice cars and big houses. My house is one of the few which has survived the onslaught of mass renovations which has changed the face of the area over the pass decade, and have grown strangely attached to its quiet, peaceful atmosphere, hence ‘Sunset’. ‘Avenue’ is included because ‘Place’ just didn’t work, and cafes are my favourite places to hang out at, so…
What do you do here?
Write about anime, manga and other aspects of visual culture, concentrating mostly on the less seen and less praised of the anime world.
